Cohasset to consider ban on electronic cigarettes

COHASSET — Electronic cigarettes, or e-cigarettes, do not contain tobacco, tar, or any of the harmful chemicals packed into traditional cigarettes. But these modern-day nicotine delivery devices may soon be outlawed in certain parts of Cohasset.

The town’s board of health will ask town meeting voters on May 12 to amend the community’s smoking bylaws to ban the use of e-cigarettes in all locations where traditional cigarettes are not allowed. This includes business offices, restaurants, athletic fields, bars, train stations and other spaces where crowds typically gather.

“It’s a new-make tobacco product,” Cohasset health inspector Tara Tradd said of e-cigarettes.

If voters approve the new by-law, Cohasset would become the first South Shore town to implement the ban on e-cigarettes, according to the non-profit Massachusetts Municipal Association. Nineteen cities and towns in the state, including Boston, have adopted the ban by inserting e-cigarettes into their respective anti-smoking laws.

In recent years, state and federal health officials have raised concerns about the unknown effects of e-cigarettes. Tradd said scientists haven’t researched the products, invented in 2003, thoroughly enough to conclude whether they are harmful.

Many critics of e-cigarettes also claim the devices can lead non-smokers, including children, to smoke traditional cigarettes. Although there are nicotine-free e-cigarettes, many people use the devices to get their nicotine fix without having to inhale the chemicals from traditional cigarettes.

Exploding Electronic Cigarette Phenomenom

The Electronic Cigarette Seems To Be Exploding Everywhere

So you want to stop smoking! The thought is a great one and should really be actioned on, the only problem is the device or method you choose to use to control your tobacco cravings.

Take this poor woman and then the women in florida and then only the other day a man was hospitalised for 8 days because of an exploding electronic cigarette.

I think more research needs to be done before a manufacturer releases an electronic cigarette for the simple and apparent reason that one can explode on you!

Here is an article I found on the latest exploding electronic cigarette!

Electronic cigarette explodes in Muskogee woman’s hand

Smoking can be hazardous to your health but, in some cases so can trying to quit.

Shona Bear Clark said she had tried to kick her “half a pack a day” habit for some time. She decided to purchase an electronic cigarette from Walmart because friends and family told they had successfully quit smoking using this method.

Shona Bear purchased the OneJoy NJOY electronic cigarette from Walmart on Sunday afternoon and brought it home to give it try. She said the device exploded when she tried to remove it from the package. “It was as loud as firing a gun, but a gun fired right in your face,” said Clark.

Clark and her sister-in-law, Lucine Schrimsher, were both in the living room when the explosion happened. Both women said the explosion looked like a white cloud of smoke and was so powerful it knocked a 15 pound salt lamp from the shelf, shattered the light bulb inside of it and knocked a decoration from across the room off of the wall. “It could have blown my head off if it had been in my mouth,” said Clark.

The most important thing is to make sure that the riskes associated with smoking are far greater than smoking real tobacco and even in light of these recent exploding e cigarettes the benefits outweigh by far smoking real tobacco.

Please comment and share your thoughts on this latest e cigarette explosions. And if you would now still rather smoke real cigarettes over electronic cigarettes please let us know.

Electronic Cigarettes Going Mainstream

It looks like electronic cigarettes are going to be available a bit more readily

Sotera are getting a large amount of money to take the electronic cigarette to the next level. Electronic cigarettes are becoming more and more popular with smokers savings thousands of dollars a year on tabocco costs, and thats only money, by using electronci cigarettes you get save your health as well!

There seems to bit a lot of controversy surrounding electronic cigarette with the FDA making “a big stink” over its use and classification and keeo trying to suppress this device from hitting the masses, I wonder why?

Below is an article I found about the investment and plans of Sotera to heavily market the electronic cigarette like never before.

Sottera gets $20 million to invest in electronic cigarettes

Scottsdale-based Sottera Inc., dba NJOY, received a $20 million investment from Greenwich, Conn.-based Catterton Partners, a consumer focused private equity firm.

The money will be used to market NYOY’s electronic cigarette product.

Plans call for hiring a handful of sales and marketing employees to help increase brand awareness of the NJOY product line. The company finished 2011 with 12 employees and now has 16.

“We certainly plan on hiring more,” said Craig Weiss, president and CEO of NJOY.

While he would not release annual revenue for the private company, he did say the company doubled its revenue every six months over the past 18 months through 2011. It also ended 2011 profitable for the first time, Weiss said.

The company would have achieved profitability sooner if not for a $2 million lawsuit it filed against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Even though the company won the lawsuit, the federal government does not pay a plaintiff’s legal fees if it loses, he said.

In May 2009, the FDA had seized shipments of NJOY products as well as those of a competitor at U.S. Customs. NJOY filed a lawsuit against the FDA seeking an injunction to prevent them from seizing its products and regulating it as a drug.

“We ultimately got an injunction against the FDA in federal district court in Washington in January 2010, but the FDA appealed,” he said. Please read the full story on the $20 million Sotera are investing in electronic cigarettes

Please share your experiences in the comments below on how you used the electronic cigarette and whether or not you succesfully used it to stop smoking or on anything else you can think of about electronic cigarettes.

Electronic Cigarettes Seem To Be Gaining Momentum As A Stop Smoking Solution

It makes sense that the electronic cigarette could be used an a stop smoking device, after all it delivers the nicotine in exactly the same way as a normal cigarette – just without the harmful toxins. In my opinion this device should really be made available through the health system as a truly viable alternaive to the current nicotine replacement therapies that are available on the market today from big pharmas.

NRT – or Nictone Replacement Therapy is when you replace the usual way of deliveing nicotine into the body but without any of the associated health risks that can come from smoking “real cigarettes” which contain tar and toxins – in the tradtional way. The smokeless alternative is exactly that, smokeless, it produces a vapor mist from water in which the “atomizer” injects and converts the nicotine liquid into a harmless water vapor.

Here is an interesting article I found about the electronic cigarette being introduced into a smoking ban – I think its absolutely ridiculous!

Electronic cigarettes could be included in latest Indianapolis smoking ban

Electronic cigarettes could be included in latest Indianapolis smoking ban: wishtv.com

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Electronic cigarettes have been toted by supporters as an alternative to the conventional cigarette, but without the health risk.

Now, those e-cigarettes could be part of the latest version of the city-wide smoking ban in Indianapolis .

The latest proposal discussed Tuesday night bans the use of both conventional cigarettes and e-cigarettes inside bars and bowling alleys. Private clubs would be allowed to make their own decisions.

Some council members at a committee meeting asked to have the e-cigarette language removed, saying the nicotine inside electronic cigarettes only hurts those who use it.

The products turn nicotine and other chemicals in cigarettes into a vapor that’s inhaled by the user.

Some former cigarette smokers came to defend electronic cigarettes….More at Electronic cigarettes could be included in latest Indianapolis smoking ban

I think the article covers some very interesting points but I really dont think the smokeless cigarette or electronic cigarette should be included in any type of smoking ban, its not being smoked, theres no flame or anything harmful, so why the inclusion in the smoking ban? What do think? Please comment below and let me know your thoughts as well.

VIP Electronic Cigarettes In Kiosks

VIP Electronic Cigarettes Take To The Streets!

Thats what I like to see, some real initiative and people buying electronic cigarettes from little kiosks!

They have become so popular that they are now in shops and kiosks all over the UK.

VIP Electronic Cigarette

A COMPANY which sells electronic cigarettes has taken a unit inside the Westfield Derby shopping centre.

For the past four months, VIP has been selling the devices from a kiosk inside the centre. But it has now taken premises in Theatre Walk, near to Derby Theatre.

The Manchester-based company markets the e-cigarettes as an alternative to real ones. They contain no tobacco, no tar and emit no smoke.

The devices are targeted at smokers but the company is not permitted to market the products as a stop-smoking aid. To qualify for that, the product would need to undergo rigorous testing.

According to the firm’s retail director, Kevin Lomas, who lives near Ashbourne, the growing popularity of the product in Derby persuaded the company to seek permanent premises in the city, where it employs three people.

He said: “We initially started selling the e-cigarettes on the internet four years ago.

“We’ve been really encouraged by the reaction we have had in Derby, which is why we have now upgraded from a kiosk to proper premises.”

But Cancer Research UK has criticised the product, saying more research needs to be conducted to prove the effectiveness of e-cigarettes.

The charity said: “The only way to be sure of any risks or benefits is through rigorous testing.

“Anyone trying to quit smoking should use medicinal nicotine products such as patches, gum or inhalators, because these have been tested and found to be safe and effective….More at E-cigs company shows burning ambition with Westfield move

The electronic cigarette is definitely taking the world by storm and we can clearly see here that this is the case.

Have your say and let us know what you think?

Fact is there are millions of smokers around the world, in spite of dozens of well-known health risks caused by tobacco smoke.

Smokers Need Electronic Cigarettes

.

For these smokers, the pleasure and enjoyment of smoking outweighs the hazards, and the consumption of nicotine is paramount in importance. Many smokers have discovered electronic cigarettes since they were introduced in 2003. Some of these smokers have found that electronic cigarettes provide the satisfaction of smoking, but without the hazards of tobacco smoke. They have come to love their electronic cigarettes for just that reason – they experience the pleasure and enjoyment of consuming nicotine, but without the dangerous, toxic consequences produced by tobacco smoke. And of course many smokers are motivated to switch to electronic cigarettes in order to eliminate any chance of second hand smoke harming other people, and to avoid the residual smoky odor that seems to linger forever. These are all good things, and they can only be said about electronic cigarettes, certainly not the other, more mundane nicotine delivery alternatives. Nobody gets pleasure and enjoyment while using nicotine patches, gums, or inhalers.  Any smoker who wants the pleasure and enjoyment along with the nicotine is going to reach for electronic cigarettes every time.

What Choices Do Electronic Cigarettes Offer?

Tobacco smokers have had quite a selection of cigarettes available to them for decades now, and the ability to make a personal choice, a personal “statement,” is important to most people. Fortunately, electronic cigarettes offer plenty of options for former smokers to make personal choices and personal statements galore. In fact, most people find that the world of choices available in electronic cigarettes is overwhelming at first. Many times, good friends and associates will provide electronic cigarettes as loaners or gifts, and that lets the smoker try out one or more styles and models before making an investment. While disposable electronic cigarettes may cost less than ten dollars apiece on sale, electronic cigarette starter kits start at thirty to fifty dollars each. Many of the best electronic cigarettes cost over a hundred dollars apiece, so that means a smoker really wants to know what he or she prefers before spending cold, hard cash on particular styles electronic cigarettes.

However, as many fans of electronic cigarettes will admit, you can’t vape just one.

Most vapers eventually acquire a collection of electronic cigarettes because they enjoy the variety. Disposable electronic cigarettes can be just the right thing for traveling, but the big tanks that can hold a whole bottle of e liquid provide long-lasting pleasure for hours and hours on end without refilling. Tanks are not the most elegant of the many styles electronic cigarettes, it’s true, but many vapers are ‘way past the phase of needing their electronic cigarettes to have the familiar appearance of tobacco cigarettes.

The mini electronic cigarettes, as the tobacco cigarette clones are called, are great in public places, but they require refilling and recharging to a much greater extent than tank style electronic cigarettes.

Although estimates are certainly subject to individual differences, especially since the flavored water vapor produced by electronic cigarettes is less dense than tobacco smoke, manufacturers of electronic cigarettes usually suggest that one cartridge of e liquid will last as long as one pack of twenty tobacco cigarettes. By manufacturers’ estimates, then, disposable electronic cigarettes should last as long as one pack before they run out of liquid and must be discarded. And it means that tank style electronic cigarettes containing a whole bottle of e liquid will last much, much longer. Since refilling electronic cigarettes only requires a few drops of liquid, it’s easy to see the dramatic contrast between tank style electronic cigarettes and the one-pack equivalents, meaning disposable electronic cigarettes, mini electronic cigarettes and pen style electronic cigarettes. Electronic cigars and pipes are larger in size, but not necessarily in e liquid capacity. With the exception of disposable electronic cigarettes, all other styles of electronic cigarettes can be recharged, so battery capacity becomes an issue for some users who prefer not to be interrupted while enjoying the pleasure and enjoyment of vaping.

Electronic cigarettes contain batteries to power the atomizer or vaporizing unit, which is the element that heats up e liquid to produce vapor.

Technically, an atomizer is a resistor, so it’s important to obtain and maintain the proper resistance within the particular battery used in various electronic cigarettes. The performance of each atomizer is assessed two different ways, by vapor production and by length of life. So, the choice between different models of electronic cigarettes often comes down to the choice of atomizers because each user gets to decide which of the two is more important – thick, puffy  clouds of  thick vapor or longer atomizer life. Basically, there’s a choice to make, and while some users don’t want to get that technical, others do. And for users of electronic cigarettes who are technologically inclined, there are web forums full of great ideas and personal contact with other vapers who are happy to provide their own hands-on experience with the huge selection of electronic cigarettes on the market today.

John Stossel’s Opinion On Electronic Cigarettes

The Food and Drug Administration has issued new warning label requirements for tobacco cigarette packaging, according to veteran newscaster John Stossel.

Electronic Cigarettes

Nicotine For Electronic Cigarettes

.

Apparently the requirements will require scary color photos of diseased body parts and actual dead bodies. Although the FDA has the power to regulate electronic cigarettes as well, no such warning labels have been issued for packaging and print advertising for electronic cigarettes. And the FDA should certainly not be issuing any drastic warnings, because there’s no proof whatsoever that electronic cigarettes contain any of the over 4,000 toxic chemicals in tobacco smoke. In reality, there’s no comparison between tobacco cigarettes and electronic cigarettes. They just look similar.
In an article online, Stossel shared several quotes that underscore his personal opinion clearly. He wonders what could be wrong with electronic cigarettes that contain no tobacco, and produce only water vapor, no smoke at all. He is not alone in his thinking.

Stossel’s article quotes New York Times science columnist John Tierney with writing the following bit of common sense about trace amounts of chemicals found in the liquid used in electronic cigarettes: “The agency has never presented evidence that the trace amounts actually cause any harm, and it has neglected to mention that similar traces of these chemicals have been found in other FDA-approved products, including nicotine patches and gum.”  And another quote from professor Brad Rodu, of the University of Louisville, printed in the Harm Reduction Journal reminds readers that traces of chemicals found by the FDA in one study of electronic cigarettes were “…about 1 million times lower concentrations than are conceivably related to human health.”

What is the FDA Thinking About Electronic Cigarettes?

This is significant evidence that electronic cigarettes will surely grow in popularity as tobacco cigarettes suffer increased bad publicity due to the stiff new packaging requirements. Surely opponents of electronic cigarettes will begin to see the light. Yet another professor named Michael Siegel, of the Boston University School of Public Health is quoted as saying, “It boggles my mind why there is a bias against e-cigarettes among antismoking groups…” Users of electronic cigarettes as well as non-users have a hard time understanding why the FDA is not in favor of promoting electronic cigarettes as a smoking cessation device. At this time electronic cigarettes cannot be promoted for that purpose. Yet Stossel writes, “A new study from Italy found that after 24 weeks, half of all smokers using the e cigarettes reduced their consumption of the real McCoy by 50 percent. And a quarter gave up smoking altogether.”  That is a truly encouraging statistic, much more consistent with the experience of many former smokers, now happy users of electronic cigarettes posting on forums online.

Most encouraging of all, Stossel concludes, “The American Association of Public Health Physicians calculated that electronic cigarettes might ‘…save the lives of 4 million of the 8 million current adult American smokers.”

So, one of America’s top investigative reporters has spoken on the subject of the FDA and electronic cigarettes, and he has quoted other authorities who agree that electronic cigarettes should be allowed to have an important place in the future of nicotine delivery. While that phrase might not sound too romantic, it is, after all, the whole point of smoking tobacco cigarettes. And it is also the whole point of using electronic cigarettes for smokers who desire to reduce their consumption of tobacco while moving in the direction of eliminating tobacco entirely. It may be that the scientific community, the medical community and the enthusiastic community of vapers who all understand that it’s really all about nicotine delivery will eventually catapult electronic cigarettes into the conscious awareness of the general public and override the political pressures of special interest groups. The reality is that smokers who experiment with electronic cigarettes usually find themselves somewhat fascinated by the experience, and they continue to experiment with different styles, models and brands of electronic cigarettes until finding just the right one that suits their own tastes. Tobacco smokers all have individual preferences and smoking styles and the same can be said about users of electronic cigarettes. “Different smokes for different folks,” is a popular phrase that could be translated as “different vapes for different folks.” Once again, it’s all about personal preferences in the strength and also the flavor of nicotine delivery in a smokeless product.

No Second Hand Smoke With Electronic Cigarettes

Blessed Relief From Secondhand Smoke With Electronic Cigarettes

Use Electronic Cigarettes For No Second Hand Smoke

.

As any tobacco smoker knows, his or her smoking not only compromises personal health, but also threatens the health of others. One of the greatest advantages of electronic cigarettes is the blessed relief of freedom from secondhand smoke, for the former smoker and for all his friends, family, co-workers and even complete strangers in the path of his cigarette smoke. Choosing electronic cigarettes is truly a wise choice for every smoker, as well as the whole environment. And the choice to use electronic cigarettes is becoming more popular and, at the same time, easier and easier because there are so many styles and models of electronic cigarettes available on the market today.

Sometimes people resist moving in the direction of making a better choice unless that new choice offers other, tangible benefits, too. Fortunately, electronic cigarettes offer significant tangible benefits that can be seen immediately, and those same benefits can be enjoyed and even enhanced over time. Acknowledging that choosing electronic cigarettes is choosing to avoid toxic tobacco smoke, and thereby avoiding toxic secondhand smoke, is the beginning of a new relationship with electronic cigarettes as the best smokeless alternative. Grateful former smokers fill online forums with their praise for electronic cigarettes, and also with their suggestions for compounding custom mixtures of e liquid. Electronic cigarettes all operate on the same, simple principle.

The liquid consumed in electronic cigarettes is called “e liquid” and it consists of liquid nicotine, flavoring and a hygroscopic base which turns the water in the solution into a smoke-like vapor when it’s heated up in the tiny vaporizer. Those are the basic components of all e liquid, although there are variations. Users of electronic cigarettes have the option of selecting the particular strength of nicotine they like, the flavor they like, and if they have a personal choice, even their base solution preference. It’s easy to see some of the other, tangible benefits of electronic cigarettes over standard tobacco cigarettes. Relief from secondhand smoke is just one of many, many benefits of electronic cigarettes.

What’s So Bad About Secondhand Smoke?

Technically, secondhand smoke is called “environmental tobacco smoke” or ETS. That term encompasses two different types of smoke created by burning tobacco; those two different types are called “sidestream smoke,” which is the smoke streaming out of the end of a burning cigarette, pipe or cigar, and “mainstream smoke,” which is the smoke exhaled from the smoker’s mouth or lungs. Non-smokers in the path of either type of secondhand smoke absorb nicotine and many other toxic chemicals, too, so it’s not only the smoker who suffers. It is no secret that avoiding both sidestream and mainstream smoke is one of the great blessings of electronic cigarettes. Although the fun and flexible features of electronic cigarettes are more interesting to think about and talk about, the reality of a genuine smokeless alternative gives electronic cigarettes a tremendous advantage over tobacco products.

The Environmental Protection Agency, the US National Toxicology Program, the International Agency for Research on Cancer and the World Health Organization’s branch known as the International Agency For Research On Cancer have all made statements announcing that secondhand smoke is unequivocally recognized as a “known human carcinogen.”  This is not breaking news in the US or across the rest of the world. People who continue to choose tobacco products know they are endangering themselves and others, while former smokers who now choose electronic cigarettes know better, much better… Users of electronic cigarettes are avoiding over 4,000 chemicals, of which over 40 have been shown to cause cancer. Their electronic cigarettes, cigars and pipes are not producing sidestream or mainstream smoke of any kind, because their electronic cigarettes are not burning. There is no combustion involved in the use of electronic cigarettes, and therefore there is no smoke at all.

What Harm Does Secondhand Smoke Cause To Non-Smokers?

Once again, secondhand smoke is extremely toxic, and it has been shown to cause not only cancer, but many other diseases as well. Secondhand smoke is suspected as the cause of death for many non-smokers, including children. Secondhand smoke kills. Recent statistics regarding specific harm caused by sidestream and mainstream secondhand smoke in the US include: 1) as many as 300,000 lung infections annually, such as bronchitis and pneumonia, all in infants under the age of 18 months old; 2) as many as 1,000,000 children with asthma experiencing more frequent and more severe asthma attacks annually; 3) more than 750,000 middle ear infections annually in small children; and 4) undocumented number of pregnant women whose pregnancies are affected by or compromised by secondhand smoke each year, often in the form of low birth weight babies, in addition to other serious complications. It has not been shown that babies and children are harmed in any way by the simple water vapor produced by electronic cigarettes.

Whether the user of electronic cigarettes is using the unit in close proximity to a child, or whether a child spends time in a room where the user of electronic cigarettes has been vaping, there is no sidestream, mainstream or residual, leftover secondhand smoke filling the room.

There is no smoke because there is no fire in the operation of electronic cigarettes. Electronic cigarettes provide the perfect alternative to tobacco products and the inevitable toxic tobacco smoke they create. Non-smokers are not choosing to absorb toxic chemicals and suffer, least of all the infants and small children involved. Electronic cigarettes ensure that vapers and non-vapers alike are safe from the dangers of harsh and deadly secondhand tobacco smoke. Electronic cigarettes offer the real advantage of blessed relief from secondhand smoke.

How Safe Are Electronic Cigarettes

Now that Electronic Cigarettes or Smokeless Cigarettes have become a very popular way to quit smoking, users are asking about safety.

electronic cigarettes stop smoking

Stop smoking With Electronic Cigarettes

.

They want to know if there are any risks involved in using an electronic cigarette to quit smoking or as a tobacco substitute. This is a valid question and it needs to be answered so users of electronic or smokeless cigarettes can be assured that they are not just replacing one unhealthy item with another. Smokers have been praying for a way to quit smoking that is safe, effective and reduces the discomfort and suffering of quitting smoking. The good news is that electronic cigarettes are the prefect solution.

While there have not been any government studies of electronic cigarettes, many of the manufacturers have spent a great deal of money having their products tested by independent laboratories. Doctors and tobacco researchers, including those at major universities, have also weighed in on the subject of electronic cigarette safety. Much has been written and said about this amazing new product and the vast majority has been quite favorable. The overwhelming opinion of the experts is that using an electronic cigarette is much safer than smoking a tobacco cigarette.

Most importantly, while electronic cigarettes do contain the addictive chemical, nicotine, the way the nicotine is absorbed into the users system is much safer than tobacco cigarettes.

The dangerous chemicals and carcinogens that are produced by tobacco cigarettes are released when the tobacco is burned and then inhaled. With the electronic cigarette, there is no flame involved and nothing is burned. This is the great safety advantage of electronic cigarettes over tobacco cigarettes. A brief description of how the smokeless cigarette works will explain why it is a safer way to get the nicotine smokers crave.

The electronic cigarette is made up of a two part tube that actually looks and functions much like a real cigarette. The main section is a metal tube that corresponds to the part of a cigarette that contains the tobacco. This section contains a battery and a heating element that vaporizes the nicotine solution. The second part of the electronic cigarette corresponds to the filter of a cigarette and it contains the nicotine cartridge. When a smoker uses an electronic cigarette, they inhale just like they would a real cigarette and the battery powered heating element vaporizes a small amount of the nicotine solution into a vapor that simulates the smoke of a real cigarette. The smoker is not only able to actually inhale the vapor as if it were smoke but they get approximately the same amount of nicotine with each drag that they would get if they were actually smoking a tobacco cigarette. The user satisfies their bodies need for nicotine while avoiding all the dangerous chemicals that are produced when you burn tobacco.

For non smokers, electronic cigarettes are a safety godsend.

Because nothing is burned, there is no second hand smoke to endanger the health or safety of a non smoker. No chance of getting lung disease, heart conditions or cancer from being in the same room as the user of an electronic cigarette. Not only is there no second hand smoke, but the danger of an accidental fire is totally eliminated with the electronic cigarette. No one has to worry about a smoker falling asleep with a lit cigarette and burning down the house. In this regard, electronic cigarettes are absolutely safe.

The electronic cigarette has another safety benefit that must be mentioned.

The nicotine cartridge used in the electronic cigarette is available in a wide range of different strengths. By reducing the strength of the cartridge every few weeks, the user can slowly and comfortably lower the amount of nicotine they are taking into their system until they are nicotine free. There is no other quit smoking device that allows you to fulfill your bodies need for nicotine while safely simulating the entire process of smoking. There is no other quit smoking device that allows you to control how much nicotine you will be getting in each drag while you slowly reduce your nicotine intake.

There is no doubt that smoking tobacco is unhealthy. No one wants to suffer the risks of lung disease or cancer but giving up smoking is just so difficult that many people have given up hope. Now there is a safe and effective quit smoking product on the market that has helped thousands and thousands of smokers give up the habit. By using the electronic cigarette they were able to wean themselves off of tobacco, without the stress and suffering of quitting cold turkey. They didn’t need prescription drugs or patches to quit. They used the simple electronic cigarette and from the first drag, they were no longer taking all those poisons into their lungs. If you are thinking about quitting, try the electronic cigarette for yourself and give up tobacco today.

Does The Electronic Cigarette Make a Good Gift?

For reluctant smokers on anyone’s gift list there are many options in the realm of the electronic cigarette

Electronic cigarette giftsThe question becomes, “which one?” Even though an electronic cigarette user may have his or her own favorite models, using nicotine in a particular strength and electronic cigarette liquid in a variety of flavor options, when considering a gift for another person all those personal preferences need to be set aside. The reason being, a new user needs to have an experience that’s simple and fun, that’s it. They just want to try it without buying it and have an enjoyable experience to boot. If this is making sense, then the following is likely to make some sense as well – just go out and purchase the nicest disposable electronic cigarette you can find, wrap it up and give it as a gift.  A disposable is by far the best choice for ease of use and fresh experience for someone who has never tried out an electronic cigarette. Cigarette smokers may have a variety of reactions to their first electronic cigarette, but that’s all part of the fun!

What Is The Best Electronic Cigarette

Everybody who is getting ready to make an investment in an electronic cigarette starter kit or even just experiment with a disposable e cigarette is thinking the same thing – which one is the best? It’s just human nature to want to try the best one first and avoid wasting time and money on inferior goods. But the truth is that there is not one best electronic cigarette because they all appeal to different users and their personal preferences. If a cigarette smoker wants to use discretion in the process of experimenting with e cigarettes in public then a slim model with a lighted tip will serve her purposes much better than the large, boxy units that simply look like an odd, confusing contraption to those unfamiliar with electronic cigarettes.

Electronic cigarettes are developing their own unique culture and the best model is the one that works where and how a person wants to use it.

A group of vapers who have all tried various models and moved up the line to enhance their options for nicotine delivery and flavor options may be sitting around talking about how to achieve the strongest concentration of nicotine in each puff. They might be heard talking about “throat hit” and “steady drip,” phrases that mean nothing to a relatively new user. The best electronic cigarette for these folks is going to differ considerably than the best one for a cigarette smoker who has just recently decided to experiment with e cigarettes to reduce their exposure to toxic tobacco smoke. That person’s needs are completely different at the outset; everyone else’s needs will continue to change.
